Candy Nails opened in Kearny Mesa, San Diego, as a quiet alternative to the chain salon — one guest at a time, never overbooked, never rushed.
The work draws on Russian e-file technique, Japanese gel artistry, and classic European spa care. The result is precise around the cuticle, considered on the surface, and unhurried in pace — the kind of appointment that lets you exhale.
Nail art here is a quiet form of self-expression. Some guests arrive with a clear reference; others say simply, surprise me. Both are welcome. A curated library of contemporary art, vintage textile prints, and editorial photography is kept on hand for inspiration.
